Point / Cloud (II) is a movement from a longer work featured on the album, which is a response to Steve Reich’s Electric Counterpoint (1987). The title evokes the work’s pointillistic texture and thick counterpoint, amassing over time into “clouds” of sound. In this introverted second movement, wandering phrases hurdle gently over one another in an engaging contrapuntal texture.
The work was recorded at Crowell's home studio and Oktaven Audio. It was mixed by Crowell and mastered by Charlie Van Kirk.

I normally only listen to electronic music, but after listening to this album months ago I found it kept calling out to me. Now after purchasing it I can see why. I am totally addicted to its beauty and harmony. Thank you so much for the wax version, as it is the only form of music I collect. kaosskid
